As you may be able to tell from the above image, “Cabin of Errors” is now officially available to watch on Amazon Prime. This is in addition being able to buy it on DVD on Amazon, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Target, Walmart, and digitally on Amazon, XBox, Google Play, and soon – iTunes.
Even prior to today, “Cabin” was our largest release so far… But today is a special day, because Amazon Prime is a big deal for us.
The cast & crew of “Cabin” worked so hard and did such an amazing job on this movie that we really wanted to make this our biggest project yet.
In November of 2016, Billy, Isaac, and I went to the 2016 American Film Market in Santa Monica. Our goal: To get distribution for “Cabin” and to introduce some major companies to Narrow Bridge. We had never attempted anything like this before… But we knew that starting with “Cabin,” we had to do more than just self-distribute on Amazon.
When asked by the numerous companies we met, we told them that our goal for the movie was to have it distributed as widely as possible — but with a special eye on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu… See, those three sites are HUGE for people looking to stream movies, and in our eyes, if we were able to get on one of those, people all over would be able to stream our film.
When we signed our deal with Summer Hill Films, we weren’t sure what the end result would be… There were no guarantees where “Cabin” would be distributed. But we held onto our hopes for one of those streaming platforms.
Time passed, and we didn’t know what would happen. Then, we were told that the movie would be available on DVD on Amazon, Google Play, and XBox. Not the height of our hopes, but still better than anything we’d gotten before. It was a win… But then slowly, the movie started to appear on other websites and stores.
And then Summer Hill announced that it would soon be available on Amazon Prime… And today is that day. Congratulations to the fantastic & hard working cast & crew that made this movie a reality. Y’all deserve this.
And please… If you have Prime, sign in… Search for “Cabin of Errors,” and give our little movie a watch. If you like it, give us a nice review. If you don’t like it, keep it between you and me, and we’ll try to do better next time. 😛
