2016: Our Biggest Year Yet

Another year in the books. 2015 was a pretty big year for Narrow Bridge Films.

We finally shared “Lost & Found,” “Tell Me Something Good,” and “Devil You Know” with the world. We had a pretty good indiegogo campaign for “Yellow Scare” and released “Rex Steel and the PC Officer.” We got into some festivals, we win some awards, and we filmed “Summer Cabin.”

A big year it was… But it was nothing compared to the year to come. 2016 will see the release of “Summer Cabin,” and the filming and release of “Yellow Scare,” our most ambitious movie yet.

Thank you to everyone for your support this year, and in previous years. We couldn’t do all of this without you.

From all of us here at Narrow Bridge Films, I wish you a happy, healthy, and amazing 2016.

Meet our New Heinrich: Dante Sterling

Meet Dante Sterling, the all new Heinrich of Yellow Scare. The original actor cast as Heinrich, Loren Christopher, had to pull out of the production because of health issues. We are all sad to see the amazing and talented Loren go, but we wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.

But as one door closes, a very different door opens…

Dante is one of the best actors and singers I have had the pleasure of working with in my career, and he will be an incredible addition to the cast, while opening up new and exciting areas of storytelling for the character.

Yellow Scare begins filming in April 2016.

Yellow Scare Costumes

12

Though no secret to us at Narrow Bridge Films, the woman who will be designing and creating the costumes for Yellow Scare will be costume designer and actress Tinea Abdallah.

Tinea may be known for her roles in Red Scare and Lost and Found, but she was also the costume designer for Red Scare, for which she was nominated for  the “Best Costume Award” at the 2012 Golden Door International Film Festival.

We are all excited to see what she creates for the crazy and ambitious world of Yellow Scare.

Yellow Scare Welcomes Bill Sorvino

We are very excited to welcome Bill Sorvino into  the Narrow Bridge Films family. Bill will be playing the role of Benito Mussolini in the upcoming feature film: Yellow Scare.

Bill is an award winning actor for his work in the film “Maniac.” He can be seen in the upcoming “Mommy’s Box” and “Who’s Jenna…?” Among others. Bill is also the founder of the Golden Door International Film Festival of Jersey City.

Bill has been an amazing supporter and friend to Narrow Bridge Films since our first film, Blaming George Romero, which screened at the debut year of the GDIFF. Since then, we have screened two other films at the GDIFF (Red Scare & Devil You Know).

In all of that time, we’ve been looking forward to casting Bill in one of our projects, and the Stars have finally aligned for our biggest film  yet.

Yellow Scare will begin filming in April 2016.

Invest in an Independent Film

yellow small

In April of 2016, we will begin production on our most ambitious (and best) feature film yet. Yellow Scare is a feature length World War II comedy with action scenes, musical numbers, and more.

The budget for this movie is going to be larger than anything we’ve ever attempted before, and to accomodate that, for the first time ever Narrow Bridge Films is looking for investors.

An investment of $5,000 or more will get you an Executive Producer credit and a percentage of all potential profits that the movie will make. Below, you will see a PDF of an Investment Proposal Brochure (designed by the amazingly talented Marinell Montales).

Take a look at the brochure, and consider a once-in-a-liftime opportunity. If you don’t have the money but know someone who does, then pass this on to them. Any person whose referral brings in an investor will receive an Associate Producer credit on the film.

The entire Yellow Scare team and I are confident that we are about to create an extraordinary and successful independent film. We hope you join us on this journey.

Rex Steel and the PC Officer

In the summer of 2015, we made a 5 part web series called “Rex Steel and the PC Officer” as a part of our Indiegogo campaign for “Yellow Scare.”

The series is a brand new Rex Steel story as well as a lead-in to “Yellow Scare.”

It was written by Isaac Platizky, directed by Sean Feuer and Sam Platizky, and stars: Sam Platizky, Jenna Kildosher, Isaac Platizky, Myron Covington, Cassandra Lynn King, Jim Coe, and Meghann Garmany.

Lights and Sound by Joey Mosca. Director(s) of Photography: Sean Feuer & Dylan Irizarry. Music by Dan Granda. Edited by Sam Platizky. Produced by Sam Platizky.

For the first time anywhere, here are all 5 parts in one place.

Investors Wanted

All of us at Narrow Bridge Films were thrilled with the positive reaction we received for the trailer for Summer Cabin. We can’t wait to show that film to you in its entirety. It is really something special.

While we are in post-production on that, we are already knee deep into pre-production on our next feature! Yellow Scare, a feature length World War II comedy with an amazing cast, crew, and musical numbers!

We are currently seeking investors for this, our biggest and most ambitious movie yet. If you, or someone you know, is interested in investing in this movie (in exchange for a percentage of potential profits), then contact us to get a look at our Investment Proposal brochure.
